On the 5th of October, 2001, Marcio Melo's latest exhibition "Victory" will open at the Hull Casino.
On October 10th, 2001, from 7 to 9 pm, Marcio will be present to meet the public.
The exhibition can be viewed from 11 am until 3 am.
"The act of painting borrows elements from chance and challenge. As an artist, I'm constantly at odds with myself in search of the ultimate sense of order and balance. The imagery depicted in the paintings celebrates the joys of winning the battle. "Victory" is an allegory to mankind and our ability to overcome obstacles in our physical and spiritual realms."
