Marcio Melo has taken the inspiration of the Fiery Leo Moon, and with his paintings, sets our hearts aflame with dramatic flare and a playful, royal attitude.
The Moon reflects the true character of the soul - dreams, unconscious feelings and powerful emotions.
Leo is the fixed fire sign of the Zodiac, representing the radiant creative forces of the individual which light up the world around it, concerned with pleasure, creativity, romance and drama.
"I recently became fascinated by astrology and started studying it in depth.
I don't think it is completely irrelevant to be influenced by the stars. In fact I think there is something quite poetic in this possibility, which provides me with much inspiration.
When I was born, the Moon was under Leo. Later, as a painter, I developed a taste for the bold and dramatic. Painting is a continuous process of self-discovery, but it doesn't provide you with profound philosophical answers. "Moon under Leo" is one way to justify and explain the reasons I have to be the artist I am."
